Racist Policies End TPS and Criminalize Haitian Immigrants
Black Agenda Radio with Margaret Kimberley

The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Trump administration cancellation of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for more than 350,000 Haitians in the U.S. TPS holders can no longer work legally, are being detained, and are ordered to immigration courts where they are forced to wear ankle monitors. The State Department has not removed its advisory warning against travel to Haiti, but the U.S. insists that thousands of people can be forced to return to a country they admit is unsafe. Our guest is Guerline Jozef, founder and Executive Director of Haitian Bridge Alliance. She discussed the impact of the end of TPS on Haitian communities.
