Black Agenda Radio · Donald Trump Attempts to End Birthright Citizenship

Donald Trump entered his second term in the office of the presidency with a flurry of executive orders. One of them seeks to deny citizenship to the children of undocumented people and those whose residency is temporary. Still, the 14th Amendment of the Constitution states that all those born in the US are citizens. We’re joined by Thomas Wolf, Director of Democracy Initiatives at the Brennan Center, who recently wrote “Presidents Can’t End Birthright Citizenship.” He joins us from New York City to discuss the implications of Trump’s executive order.
