Dahoud Andre joins us from KOMOKODA, the Committee to Mobilize Against Dictatorship in Haiti. He’s also the host of Eritye Papa Desalin, a daily Haitian community radio program and the host of Haiti: Our Revolution Continues on WBAI. In 1791 the ceremony that launched the Haitian revolution took place on August 14th in Bwa Kayiman. The enslaved people who were gathered there declared that the revolution would begin in 8 days.
