The public has until mid-October to comment on Trump administration plans to charge protesters in the nation’s capitol, said Mara Verheyden-Hilliard, of the Partnership for Civil Justice Fund. “They want to charge fees and costs” associated with protests, including making demonstrators pay the cost of policing their protests,” said Verheyden-Hilliard.
