In this week’s segment, we hear about how the Black mayor of Buffalo, New York targeted Black and Latinx communities to raise revenue with traffic citations which resulted in a civil rights lawsuit challenging the practice. But first, we discuss the recent election in South Africa with a representative of the South African Communist Party. The African National Congress (ANC) lost its parliamentary majority and must now form a coalition government without jeopardizing its history of fighting for the liberation of African people.
