The Real News Network

🖨️ Print Article

Glen Ford, interviewed by the Real News Network, remarks upon the congruity (NOT the INcongruity) of the administration of the first black president and first black attorney general imposing, at the request of local authorities a "no fly" zone to impede news coverage of mass actions and police response in Ferguson MO. The last time the Obama administration imposed a domestic no-fly zone was also to inhibit news coverage, that time of the extent of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill near the end of the first black president's first term in office.
