David Swanson:  Presidents Love Wars, and From Now On All Presidents Will Want to be War Presidents...

And why shouldn't they?  Wars expand presidential powers, and are not to be questioned.  This president just made a war speech holding his brand new Nobel Prize.  Could Bush have gotten away with such a feat?  But Congress and the president DO fear the people, Swanson points out.  If they did not, why would they place unemployment compensation money in the same legislation as their war funding?
