John Parker is coordinator of the Harriet Tubman Center for Social Justice in Los Angeles and a leading member of the Socialist Unity Party. He is also a member of the Black Alliance for Peace who traveled to Ukraine and Russia in 2022 as part of a fact-finding delegation. He joins us from Los Angeles to discuss the week of actions against war and racism, which are planned to take place in commemoration of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. John Parker will be among the speakers at an event at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Harlem on Friday evening January 13 at 6pm, "People Speak Out to Stop War, Racism and World War III."
