Pennsylvania Funds Prison Repression, But Not Health Care

Although a statewide lockdown is officially over, prisoner mail and visitation will be hugely disrupted for the next 90 days, said Johanna Fernandez, of the Campaign to Bring Mumia Home. The state will spend $15 million “on repressive technology, at a time when they say they don’t have the money to treat prisoners with hepatitis-c,” said Fernandez.
