Black Agenda Radio Ā· Descendants and Survivors of the Displaced Palm Springs Black Community Demand Restitution

The Black families of Palm Springs' Section 14 were forcibly displaced from their community when city officials decided to develop the area for luxury tourism. Section 14 survivors and their descendants are calling for justice and repair. They have initiated a billboard campaign, Know Before You Go, which tells visitors their stories. We are joined by Deiter Crawford, a Section 14 descendant.
