The Atlanticist bloc, with NATO as its military arm, is coming undone, said Omali Yeshitela, chairman of the Black Is Back Coalition. President Trump’s verbal assaults on Washington’s European and Canadian allies at the recent G7 summit showed that “there’s a fraying of much of the arrangement that was established under the Atlanticist project” after World War Two. The rise of China as the world’s economic center has created an “every white man for himself” mentality, said Yeshitela.
