Writhing—tossing, turning—
Furious about a
Flashback
making me sit up in bed … trembling with anger!

Furious about a flashback! Flashback of a
Freedom fighter framed, chained and gagged!
Choking, grunting muffled anti-fascist phrases—
Cruel, as usual, punishment … Chicago kangaroo courtroom

Furious about a flashback! Flashback of a framed
Freedom fighter!     Black Panther Bobby Seale—
Bound and gagged— “… no rights the white man was
Bound to respect …” Body on the block for The People

Fast ‘forward’ 55 yrs … NYC courtroom …  White collar
Career criminal; kleptocrat; dictator “for a day;” wannabe
Führer’s wrist-slapped— fined a grand a day— for farting
Fascist threats …  Admonished for rambling contempt of:
500,000 COVID-19 red nose, big shoe show stolen
Lives! Lives lost to price-gouging, grifting— ‘red' state V.
‘blue’ state ‘PPE’ ‘bidding’ wars! Lives lost to disinfectants

Fast ‘forward’ 55 yrs … NYC courtroom … White collar
Career criminal; kleptocrat; dictator “for a day;” wannabe
Führer sits unaccountable. Sits in contempt of protestors
plucked from Portland streets—D.C. protestors beatdown
for Bible photo op.
He sits in contempt of George Floyd Summer marchers
suffering lifelong injuries from ‘less lethal’ weapons.
In contempt of families/communities of 13 he thrill-killed
on his way out of Offal Office … Looting the War House …

Split screen … Segue—
Flashback to Bobby— it sounds like his
Muffled shouts are saying loud and clear:
“ALL POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!”
