Omali Yeshitela is chairman of the African Peoples Socialist Party, leader of the Uhuru Movement, and the Black is Back Coalition. The African Peoples Socialist Party’s Uhuru House was raided by the FBI in St. Petersburg, Florida as well as the Uhuru Solidarity Center in St. Louis, Missouri in July 2022. Chairman Yeshitela and two others were recently indicted, charged with being agents of the Russian government. He joins us from St. Petersburg Florida to discuss updates and his perspective on the history of these attacks against Black people.
