Black Agenda Radio · Craig Mokhiber on the Need to Enforce International Human Rights Law

Our guest is Craig Mokhiber. He is an international human rights lawyer and former director of the New York Office of the United Nation’s High Commissioner for Human Rights. He stepped down from that post in October 2023 and penned a letter addressed to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in which he condemned the UN’s failure to protect Gazans from what he called a “text-book case of genocide.” Craig Mokhiber joins us from New York as the U.S. and Israel continue their partnership in committing war crimes and as the UN and its agencies continue their subservience to the United States. The death toll and the destruction of Gaza continue but now under the guise of a supposed disagreement in policy between the U.S. and Israel.
