Comics An Effective Tool for African Girls’ Empowerment

For the past five years, Kenyan artist and intellectual Anne Moraa has helped develop comic books and magazines aimed at empowering young girls. “Comics are an effective tool for behavior change,” said Moraa, “because they provide clear information in the language that the people speak.”
