In this week’s segment we focus on two nations, Venezuela and Eritrea, while we continue paying tribute to the late Glen Ford, co-founder and driving force behind Black Agenda Report.

We have Glen Ford’s commentary from 2019 in which he outlines how Democratic Party presidential candidates are strong supporters of U.S. aggression in Venezuela and around the world.

Eritrea is also a focus as Black Agenda Report is represented at the National Conference of Eritrean Americans. We present Eritrea’s president Isaias Afwerki’s remarks to Vladimir Putin during the recent African summit held in Russia.

In a 2015 interview with the Real News Network Glen Ford discussed the lies that are told about Eritrean migration.

But first, Margaret Kimberley was a jurist with the International People’s Tribunal on U.S. Imperialism: Sanctions, Blockades, and Coercive Economic Measures in Venezuela during a week of fact-finding and a hearing. She is joined by another jurist from Kenya, who discusses the need for international solidarity with Venezuela.
