“Black men are still dying of AIDS” in disproportionate numbers for lack of access to life-saving drugs, said Darius Bost, professor of Ethnic Studies at the University of Utah and author of the book, “Evidence of Being: The Black Gay Renaissance and the Politics of Violence.” Bost disputes the view that the AIDS crisis is over.
