Black Agenda Radio · Abolishing Prison Slavery in the U.S.

The 13th Amendment to the constitution reads in part, “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States…” We discuss this issue with Max Parthas, National Campaign Coordinator and Founding Member of the Abolish Slavery National Network. He joins us from South Carolina to discuss his organization’s campaign to abolish slavery in the U.S.
